Biography x Artist Statement
Dismic experiments with sound, space and touch. As an artist and workaholic based in Singapore, her practice lies in the narratives of human senses and memories. Often playing with mediums that evoke the subconscious and its emotional sublime in her audience. Her works addresses the modes of wellbeing, acceptance, hospitality and caregiving to explore the issues of domestic abuse and its effects on an individual.
During her academic years in NAFA, she had exhibited in 'Fears to Dreams', a collaboration with Singapore General Hospital organ transplant unit in 2019 to create artworks with transplant patients; NAFA Talent Development Program (NTDP), a program that serves to groom students in their respective field through customised programs. She is also a recipient of the Dean's List (2020 and 2021), NAFA scholarship (2020), Tan Chay Bing Scholarship (2019) and Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple Entry Scholarship (2018).
