Body to me is a tool for one to express their thoughts. Personally, I have a tendency to suppress my emotions under multiple layers of ‘faces’. For my final, I want the work to be an interactive work between the audience and the work. The motion of the viewer flipping through the faces enhance my idea of the body; a tool. In total, there are 18 layers, including the last page, the mirror. This is a representation of hell. The roadway of hell in the hidden emotions. Through the layers of ‘faces’, the darkness starts to fade and reveal the purest emotion, which is your reflection. The drawing and prints are the manifestations of one’s mental defence mechanism.
